Program Manager
The Program Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing KAC programs and will report directly to the Executive Director. The Program Manager will work cohesively with the KAC staff team and volunteers.
As a Program Manager, you will be responsible for leadership development programs (IgniteNextGen Fellowship Program, National College Leadership Conference, Summer College Internship Program, Model United Nations) throughout the year. You will also be involved in community outreach (voter registration, Census) and the Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Center. Once trained, you also provide bilingual case assistance to support the ADR Center

- Designs program plans, implements, and oversees various leadership development program operations and civic engagement outreach projects with internal and external stakeholders
- Develops and administers budgets for programs under Executive Director supervision
- Oversees and manages program income and expenditures
- Creating and distributing content and materials through social media, print media, press releases, newsletter campaigns
- Develops and drafts press releases and press statements, especially concerning the programs
- Recruits and trains interns and volunteers for supporting events, programs, and activities
- Assists with grant writing and reporting
- Work closely with program participants, community members, and partner organizations.
- Provide case assistance for the ADR Center as a certified mediator (training paid by KAC)
- Seek opportunities for collaboration with other community partners
Qualifications

Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree minimum
- 3-5 consecutive years of full-time program management experience
- Management of staff, interns, and volunteers
Other Qualifications/Skills
- Bilingual (English/Korean); fluent in reading, writing, and speaking
- Must be self-directed, driven, detail-oriented, and organized
- Self-starter attitude and highly communicative, especially in a virtual work environment as well as in-person
- Strong verbal, written, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal staff, government agencies, private businesses, community-based organizations, students, and parents
- Ability to exercise independent judgment, initiative, resourcefulness, and discretion in decision making
- Ability to set long-range plans and short term goals for the program, develop agendas and implement action plans and schedules to achieve program plans and goals
- Ability to effectively manage multiple projects
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Experience with social media and marketing preferred
- Experience with program management software preferred
- Experience with Quickbooks preferred
